Description:

Position Purpose:

  • Patient Financial Specialist 2: obtains demographic, clinical, financial and insurance information. In addition, the PFS II also performs pre-registration and registration activities including response to real-time eligibility verification and financial clearance.
  • Location: Remote
  • Specialty: Hospital preplanned service
  • Hours of office: Monday through Friday 9:00a – 5:30p (1 week a month), Flex 8 hours between 7:30am – 5:30pm for remaining weeks

  • Verify insurance
  • At least 34 account authorized a day

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred
  • Experience: Must possess a working knowledge of medical terminology, and data entry skills.
