Position Summary

The Paid Media Manager is responsible for the execution of paid media strategies for individual clients of Rocket Clicks. As a front-line team member, they actively engage in ad platforms on a daily basis to drive the necessary performance results for their clients. Their attendance and participation in both internal sprint meetings and client calls supports the Account Manager in fostering client confidence. The Paid Media Manager also prioritizes the most critical tasks, finding efficiencies through automation and delegation to support team members.

Performance Objectives

  • Own strategic decisions within paid media including platform selection, messaging map, creative deployment, optimization emphasis, targeting criteria
  • Execute Rocket Clicks playbook for the particular client industry
  • Ensure account execution follows company First Principles methodology
  • Analyze performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Own and delegate paid media tasks within weekly sprint planning framework
  • Ideate experiments for client accounts designed to produce the highest likelihood of performance improvement
  • Work with design and editing partners to ensure campaigns are using the most compelling ad creative
  • Manage media mix and budget allocation across ad platforms to achieve results and stay within client expectations
  • Act as Quality Assurance for all conversion tracking, quickly identifying breaks that would render reporting less valuable
  • Document client-specific tasks for delegation to other team members
  • Attend client meetings as subject matter expert
  • Audit other client accounts and prospect accounts for opportunity harvesting and strategy validation
  • Contribute to iterative documentation improvements of industry team and paid media discipline

Capabilities & Key Competencies

Education & Experience

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experiential knowledge
  • Prior experience working in a professional services organization
  • 3+ years professional experience in digital marketing, 2+ specialized in paid media
  • Prior experience working with or for Lead Generation companies

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working
  • This position may require up to 10% travel
