Responsibilities
- Complete required documentation such as batch records and returns.
- Understand production processes and operate manufacturing equipment.
- Follow GMPs and standard operating procedures.
- Transport materials safely using material handling equipment.
- Perform area safety inspections and report hazards.
- Monitor personal and peer behaviors for safety adherence.
- Participate in internal audits and team activities.
- Engage in site investigative teams and corrective actions.
- Be available for overtime as needed.
- Maintain quality, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.
- Comply with state and federal regulations including FDA, ISO, and OSHA.
- Identify and record environmental problems as they arise.
- Complete all assigned regulatory training.
- Follow the Environmental Management System guidelines.
- Assist in projects or assignments as requested by management.
- Seek ways to improve products, services, and processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Work experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or GMP-compliant industry preferred.
- Fluent in English, able to read and write.
- Operating skills of manufacturing equipment and tools preferred.
- Basic computer skills and PC navigation preferred.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality.
- Familiarity with operating hand/pallet jacks.
- Experience with data entry and software applications for job-specific needs.
