Job Role: Virtual Assistant

Compensation range: 1,300 - 1,800 AUD/month

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a boutique property management business specialising in design-led, high-end holiday homes in popular coastal destinations. They focus on providing exceptional guest experiences while maintaining beautifully presented properties, combining style, comfort, and attention to detail.

Role Overview: We’re seeking a proactive Virtual Assistant to support the back office of a property management business. The role focuses on property management systems (especially Resly) and includes managing bookings, updating listings, processing payments, and handling admin tasks. It’s a varied role suited to someone detail-oriented, organised, and confident working independently.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage emails, inquiries, and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle booking coordination and scheduling, including direct bookings.
  • Process credit card payments for bookings via multiple platforms (e.g., website, VRBO, Booking.com) and issue payment receipts to guests
  • Update and maintain property management systems (e.g., Resly)
  • Set up new properties across WordPress, Resly, Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO, and continually refine listings over time
  • Complete orders for furniture, linen, amenities, and consumables
  • Assist with website updates and content management via WordPress
  • Produce documents and marketing materials with content and images
  • Provide social media updates for owners’ personal brands (including LinkedIn)
  • Provide general administrative support as needed
  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or Administrative Assistant (property management or holiday letting experience is a strong plus)
  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) — Resly experience is highly preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Proficiency with tools such as email, scheduling systems, and WordPress; Canva skills preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and workflows
  • A high-end interior design background or an interest in real estate and development is advantageous
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
