Rampart IC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm or as needed.

This role will be primarily remote with the ability to report to the Liberty Park office as needed.

Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (or relevant experience will be considered)
  • 3 years of relevant accounting experience required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable processes as needed
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and variance analyses
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits
  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Perform other accounting duties and projects as assigned
