Labcorp St. Paul / MedTox Client Services Team is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative. Our Client Services Team is committed to providing quality service to both internal and external customers. This position acts as an advocate for our clients in supporting their needs. This will be a Remote/Work from Home office position.

  • HS Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 2+ years previous customer service experience, laboratory or healthcare preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including written, verbal, and listening skills

  • Confident in multitasking and quickly adapting to changing priorities

  • Proven ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service

  • Ability to present professional image via phone; superb phone etiquette skills

  • Excellent problem resolution skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient computer skills including CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other office software

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with other team members and departments; providing excellent internal customer service to optimize service to all external clients

  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to external customers via phone and email

  • Answer customer inquiries, research issues and provide effective resolutions to client issues and concerns in a timely manner (supply orders, billing questions, account set up, testing questions, specimen inquiries, etc.)

  • Document issues, action steps and outcome of customer inquiries

  • Document and process change requests promptly and efficiently

  • Follow all SOP’s and team procedures to ensure accuracy and regulation compliance.

  • Assist with large projects and meet deadlines

  • Make outbound calls to existing customers providing them with information about new products and services

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6pm CST

**During 4 - 6wk training, approximate schedule will be 8am - 4:30pm CST**

Pay Range: $20 – $23/hr

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
