About the position

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst to analyze and interpret HR data, providing insights to support decision-making and developing reports and dashboards that enhance organizational performance. Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance HR reports and dashboards using Oracle HCM, OTBI, BI Publisher, Taleo OBI, and PowerBI.
  • Create reports and manipulate large datasets using SQL to uncover trends, patterns, and insights related to HR functions.
  • Generate periodic HR metrics reports and present findings to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to assess the impact of HR initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by conducting regular audits and troubleshooting data discrepancies across HR systems.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT teams to optimize the use of Oracle HCM and associated reporting tools.
  • Design and implement dynamic dashboards for HR leadership to visualize key HR metrics.
  • Create customized, user-friendly dashboards tailored to specific business needs across various departments.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand reporting needs and develop data models that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide consultative support, offering data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
  • Train HR team members on report generation and data interpretation using Oracle reporting tools.
  • Stay updated on Oracle HCM and OTBI best practices, system updates, and emerging trends in HR analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field and 10+ years of experience, or a Master's degree and 8+ years of experience, or a PhD or JD and 5+ years of experience.
  • 10 or more years of related experience preferably in HR data analysis or HRIS, within a large organization.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle HCM, OTBI, Oracle BI Publisher, and SQL.
  • Strong background in HR metrics, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM and OTBI for developing reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with BI Publisher for report generation and customization.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools and techniques.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional HRIS platforms or tools.
  • Certification in HR Analytics or Oracle HCM.
